APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Accessing a WebSphere Portal page through an external security
manager (ESM) results in mixed secure/non-secure warning from
the browser. This behavior is caused by an absolute path
    reference in semanticTagService.js for
    /wps_semanticTag/ui/styles.css.

Local fix

  • Configure the ESM to translate these absolute links from HTTP to
HTTPS (e.g. filter-nonhtml-as-xhtml setting for Tivoli Access
Manager / WebSeal). Not all ESMs provide such functionality.

Problem summary

  • security prompts when accessing WebSphere Portal Server through
    Server.

Problem conclusion

  • Modified the semacticTagMenu file for fixing the problem
