Error description

• When an application is serialized read-only preferences of
  portlets are not contained in the resulting template.
   If such a preference is needed as a POV (point of variability)
  than the instantiation of the template will not ask
   for the POV and therefore the POV won't be set.

• When an application is serialized read-only preferences of
  portlets are not contained in the resulting template.

  variability) than the instantiation of the template will not ask

Problem conclusion

• During serialization the topology uses the portlet container
  api to retrieve the portlet definition preferences (and not any
  more the datastore component. In 6.1 the read-only preferences
  are handled by WAS and not stored anymore in the portal
