Error description

  • A user in the Manager Role is failing to re-assign himself to
another role. The reason for this is that a user of an
application can only be in one role at a time. He first gets
removed from the Manager role and then should be added to the
new role. Because he is executing the command by itself he is
none application role and thus has not the needed permissions to
assign himself to the new role.

Problem summary

  • A user in the Manager Role is failing to re-assign himself to
another role. The reason for this is that a user of an
application can only be in one role at a time. He first gets
removed from the Manager role and then should be added to the
new role. Because he is executing the command by itself he is
none application role and thus has not the needed permissions to
assign himself to the new role.

Problem conclusion

  • The code is now doing one initially check and is then executed
with a system user that has the sufficient permissions to do the
    reassignment.
