APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Objects that were needed temporarily during XMLAccess requests
remain in memory. The number of objects depends on the
    XMLAccess
request output (An XMLAccess export leads to more objects than
the result message of an XMLAccess import). The leak is not
necessarily growing steadily since the temporary objects
remaining are related to the last XMLAccess request of each
    thread.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Objects that were needed temporarily during XMLAccess
requests remain in memory. The number of objects depends on the
XMLAccess request output (An XMLAccess export leads to more
objects than the result message of an XMLAccess import). The
leak is not necessarily growing steadily since the temporary
objects remaining are related to the last XMLAccess request of
    each thread.

Problem conclusion

  • References to objects needed temporarily are maintained
during XMLAccess execution only and released afterwards.
