APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• dynamic-cluster-setup unmaps applications in multiple
  cluster/same cell configuration.
  
  build WASXD dynamic cluster A.
  build Primary Portal node B.
  federate Portal node B to DMGR.  (associated pre-node and post
  node tasks run as well)
  
  run dynamic-cluster-setup on Portal node B to create Cluster B.
  testing cluster A, applications no longer mapped.
  
  From the ConfigTrace.log we see that dynamic-cluster-setup runs
  an
  additional task, action-remap-apps-to-dynamic-cluster, which
  does not
  seem to take multiple clustering into consideration.
  

Local fix

• Workaround sent to customer:
  
  1.  Backup the following file:
   PortalServer/config/was/wp_RedeployAppsToCluster.jacl
  
  2.  Download the attached wp_RedeployAppsToCluster.jacl and
  place it in
  the PortalServer/config/was/
  
  3.  Edit wpconfig.properties on the primary node of the second
  cluster
  
  4.  Add the following entry and save the file:
   ClusterName2=<your first cluster name>
  
  5.  Execute the following WPSconfig script on the primary node
  of your
  second cluster:
  
   ./WPSconfig.sh action-remap-apps-to-dynamic-cluster
  
  .jacl file uploaded to ECuRep.
  

Problem summary

• Dynamic-cluster-setup did not preserve target mappings in
  multiple cluster in single cell scenarios
