PK51772: SESSION TIMEOUT PAGE NOT DISPLAYED PROPERLY IN PORTLET PALETTE

Error description

  • After a session timeout while in the Portlet Palette, user tries
    to
    login again and gets a full screen of Portlet Palette or blank
    screen.
    
    
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    
    -Login to Portal
    -Click on the + for the Portlet Palette
    =Wait for idle session timeout
    -Enter some text in the search field for the palette and click
    on the
    Search icon.
    -The portlet palette window exhibits the session timeout message
    that
    tells USER to go back to Portal Home.
    -click on Launch->Home, which takes USER to the login page.
    -submit credentials and get a completely blank screen (no
    theme
    elements either) or possibly the portlet palette in the full
    screen.
    

Local fix

  • Manually type URL for /wps/myportal or close and reopen browser.
