  • Importing Web Content libraries using the import-wcm-data task
    fails with the following error:

    failed: Illegal character(s) in message header value: Basic

    Can't run jcradmin config tasks when admin DN is long.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Importing WCM libraries fails with an
    Illegal Character(s) message indicating that the admin
    DN is too long
    

Problem conclusion

  • The DN is truncated to allow the
    jcradmin config tasks to complete when the library
    import occurs
