Error description

  • XMLAccess slow on NFS filesystem

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The XmlAccess client uses a FileOutputStream to write the server
response to the output file. This FileOutputStream writes
byte-wise which results in performance problems if the output
file is on an NFS mounted directory.

Problem conclusion

  • Wrapped the FileOutputStream in a BufferedOutputStream.
