The Oracle StorageTek Virtual Storage Manager 7 ( VSM7 ) Open Systems Attach(OSA) emulates a fiber channel ACSLS controlled SL8500 library.

VSM7 OSA Base Unit Capacity:
256 Virtual Tape Drives (VTD's) per appliance
100,000 Virtual Tape Volumes (VTV's); size = 32GB of native capacity per VTV
Up to 825TB of native customer usable capacity

Barcode requirements:
Non-labeled cartridges are not supported. Only 6 Alphanumeric characters barcodes are supported

Device identifications and firmware levels used during validation process:
(Validated with IBM Spectrum Protect Server 7.1.6.0)
