Problem summary

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If a ROLE keyword with a length         *
    *                      greater than 12 was used on a -STOP     *
    *                      TRACE or -DISPLAY TRACE command,        *
    *                      the command would fail and return       *
    *                      a DSN9013I message indicating an        *
    *                      invalidate parameter length was used.   *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    The ROLE keyword was incorrectly defined with a max length
    of 12 rather than 128 bytes.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The max parameter length for the ROLE keyword on -STOP and
    -DISPLAY TRACE commands has been correctly set to 128 bytes.
