Abstract

IBM WebSphere Business Modeler Advanced provides periodic fixes and updates for editions of release 6.2. The following is a recent listing of fixes for version 6.2 with the most recent fix at the top.

Description
Allows the user to generate default Forms when exporting to WebSphere Integration Developer. Advanced only.
Adds a warning that the namespace of an element will exceed 220 byte limit. Advanced only
Corrects the dependency look up to allow the generation the import component for services on export to WebSphere Integration Developer. Advanced only.
Ensure element descriptions containing carriage returns display in reports.
Ensure already set timetables are displayed for Human tasks in a simulation. Advanced only
Ensure Map element correctly map data from the input to an array output.
Remove Process catalog's id appended to Global element names on XML import.
Correctly performs multiple element drag and drop in Project tree. Basic only.
Eliminates a swimlane merge issue in diagram editor caused by a sequence of navigating into subprocesses, and then navigating back through the parents.
Corrects an unexpected move of Task element, in swimlane diagram, when one lane includes a subprocesses which is navigated into and then user navigates back to top level process.
Corrects synchronization when two users are updating a project shared in a Clearcase repository, when one user deletes the elements and commits the delete and another user re-commits the elements.
  • Prevents Null pointer exception when a user clicks on a row in the Output table in the Attributes view.
  • Corrects model validity validation to be raised on RDA export. Basic only.
  • Displays the correct attributes for element re-imported from a WSDL.
  • Fixes several Versioning issues including exception handling, adds optional dependencies on Rational plug-ins, corrects Versioning action disabling and enabling handling in Project tree, and prevents sharing of Predefined project.

  • Prevents Critical error from occurring on process elements after a split connector for which the source is a task, and that task is moved in a for loop.
  • Eliminates warning message when previewing a conversion of a Local subprocess diagram element to a Global process, and prevents subsequent errors opening a Global process.
  • Corrects the display of an added Resource definition, after the simulation is saved.
  • Allows for copy/paste of Role requirements for elements in a simulation.

  • Allows diagram elements from one swimlane process to be copied to another swimlane process, with like lanes, into the corresponding lanes as opposed to the "Unassigned" lane.
  • Allows for consistent element name or description display handling when hovering over an element on the Review space of a published process.
  • Corrects the selection handling of dependant projects for projects that are imported from a Rational Asset Manager repository.
  • Corrects the reporting of deleted description fields in the compare/merge dialog (110984.1)
  • Prevents errors from showing in WebSphere Integration Developer by generating the correct data for the Incoming gateway setting.
  • Corrects synchronization change report analysis to report correct changes for attributes of a Call Behaviour Action.
  • Prevents multiple catalogs of same name to be published to a Review space when project is migrated from previous version, For example: 6.1.2.
  • Prevents Null pointer exception when exporting to WebSphere Integration Developer with Monitor model options.

  • Adds support for Clear Case 7.1.1.
  • In Modeler 6.2.0.2 with RAM 7.2 testing, User adds Modeler project to repository with WebSphere Integration Developer export only. The project is not visible in Modeler but is visible in the web.
  • Import issue occurs, when a task connected to a repository has been pasted from one process to another.
  • Error opening BSO output settings.
  • Require disabling team actions for migrated projects.
  • Shared element could not be deleted after renaming.
  • Failed to create BI, in a catalog, after moving a like name BI to another catalog.
  • Cannot open a sim profile due to a no text annotation node.
  • After re-committing a shared project, after migration, a new BI for which a synchronize is attempted should not be allowed, and the actions should be disabled.
  • In Attributes view, Duration tab, if the value type for a selected Task is set to Distribution and then the value type is changed to Specification, a Null pointer exception occurs.
