    ****************************************************************
If an application server is configured with multiple listener
ports, it is possible that upon message-driven bean startup,
one or more of the message-driven beans do not process
    messages.
This is caused by a timing problem at listener port start that
prevents server sessions from being used to process messages.
In a system that uses multiple servers to process the same
WebSphere MQ queue, the symptoms for this problem may include
message processing delay, as the messages are marked by the
queue manager for a period of time before being made available
    to other application servers.

Problem conclusion

  • The timing problem has been resolved to ensure that server
sessions are available to process messages.

APAR PM94746 is currently targeted for inclusion WebSphere
Application Server V6.1 Fix Pack 6.1.0.47.
