Error description

Java Memory leak observed in the WebSphere Application Server's
Servant region, when running WebSphere Process Server (WPS).
The leaking object is:
   com.ibm.ws.activity.remote.cos.
   CosActivityCoordImpl$CoordinatorProxyWrapper
.
The above object was loaded by:
org.eclipse.osgi.internal.baseadaptor.DefaultClassLoader
.

The WebSphere activity service is used by a number of high
level services such as CScopes, Workarea and Activity
Sessions. When one of these services is active on a thread and
a remote call is made, then the leaking objects are added to a
HashMap and HashTable with the Java and WebSphere ORB code.
These objects were then never unregistered from these
collections.

Problem conclusion

This APAR solves the problem by explicitly removing the
CoordinatorProxyWrapper objects registered with the ORB.

APAR PM64521 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Packs
7.0.0.25, 8.0.0.5, and 8.5.0.1 of WebSphere Application
Server.
