Error description
In the WASOEM product, they are eliminating the admin console fr their product and along with that, the ability to call the iscdeploy command to rebuild the console. The postinstaller need to determine this and not run the sym linking logic on certain folders that have been removed as a result.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V7.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Error while trying to symlink files * * during a runtime refresh with WAS OEM. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** In WAS OEM, the post installer cannot symlink files related to the administration console as the files have been removed from the WAS OEM product. An error appears in the applyPTF.out log about not being able to find the files trying to be symlinked.
Problem conclusion
A conditional statement was added to link the files only if they exist. This issue was caught before the release of WAS OEM Fix Pack 7.0.0.21 so no WAS OEM customer will experience this issue. APAR PM62258 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.23 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0.
