Error description

An abend 0C4 occurred  occasionally on the server termination.

The abend 0C4 happened in IGVCPOOL because of a timing window in
the server's private storage cleanup and the completion of
server termination. The server, due to the timing in its storage
checking mechanism, incorrectly completed its termination
process  while there remained an scheduled SRB for clean up from
BBOOSRBF. Additional logic to close this timing window on server
termination will be implemented.

An abend 0c4 reason code 11 can occur in IGVCPOOL when the
WebSphere Application Server for z/OS SRB routine bboosrbf
calls IGVCPOOL to get a cell from a private area cpool to use
for its dynamic area. The abend occurs when the SRB is given
control in an address space that is terminating and has
already cleaned up private area storage.

Problem conclusion

Changed the code to use a common area cpool instead of a
private area cpool.

APAR PM34529 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.19 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0.
