Error description

When WebSphere Optimized Local Adapter is used to send requests
from a client into a WebSphere server which has multiple
security domains, services BBOA1INV and BBOA1SRQ may return
RC=8 and RSN=44.  The requests will not be processed by
WebSphere.  The same requests will receive RC=0 RSN=0 when a
single security domain is used.

When a WebSphere Application Server for z/OS cell is
configured with multiple security domains, inbound Optimized
Local Adapter requests (originating from an external address
space) were not resolving the security domain correctly.  This
resulted in a return code 8, reason code 44, when these
requests were driven from a client using the BBOA1INV and
BBOA1SRQ services, provided by the Optimized Local Adapters.

Problem conclusion

Code was added to allow the Optimized Local Adapters to
correctly resolve the security domain in a multiple security
domain configuration for inbound requests using BBOA1INV and
BBOA1SRQ.

APAR PM24674 is currently targeted for inclusion in
Service Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.15 of WebSphere
Application Server.
