Error description

  • The afflicted fields are in panels found on these paths:

    The radio button "Centrally Managed" the Field help says
            Field help
                Specifies that the selection of a Secure Sockets
                Layer (SSL) configuration is based upon
                the outbound topology view for the Java(TM) Naming
                and Directory Interface (JNDI) (LDAP) protocol.
    THe radio button "Use specific SSL alias" the Field help says
            Field help
                Specifies which Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
                configuration to use for Lightweight Directory
                Access Protocol (LDAP).
    
    The SSL settings defined apply to every protocol that uses
    this CSIv2 transport specification.

Problem conclusion

  • With this fix, the description of LDAP is removed because it
    is out of context in some panels.
    
    APAR PM24042 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
    Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.15 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0.
