PM19206: RECEIVING CNLC102E, CNLC157E, AND CNLC173W MESSAGES WHEN MMS FILES IN SBBOMSG ARE COMPILED

Error description

The customer received the CNLC102E, CNLC157E, and CNLC173W
messages when the message-template files were compiled.
For example:

The CNLC102E error is due to the blank line at the end of the
file.  The CNLC157E error is displayed because the translated
files BBO*MSJP in the install dataset (SBBOMSG) are corrupted.
There are invalid non-DBCS characters - Shift-In, Shift-Out - in
the translated files.

The compile of the WebSphere Application Server for z/OS
message template files (BBOMMSEN, BBOMMSJP, BBOOMSEN, BBOOMSJP,
BBOSMSEN, BBOSMSJP, BBOTMSEN, BBOTMSJP, in dataset SBBOMSG) via
MMS fails with the following error messages:
CNLC102E, CNLC157E, and CNLC173W.

The message template files contain incorrect formatting, which
results in the compiler failures.

Problem conclusion

The incorrect formatting in the message template files was
corrected.

APAR PM19206 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.13 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0.
