PK45262 added a call a SSL function to retrieve certificate
information to add to SSL error messages.  The call to the SSL
function causes a performance a performance degradation of the
HTTP Server for z/OS and the WebSphere Application Server for
z/OS Plug-in.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Changed the code that makes the call to the SSL function so
that the call does not result in the reported performance
degradation.

APAR PK77650 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.3 of WebSphere Application
Server V7.0 for z/OS.
