  In z/OS a java.lang.IllegalArgumentException can be thrown,
  resulting in the closing of the connection. The
  java.lang.IllegalArgumentException is caused when the SSL
  Channel sends a non direct byte buffer to z/OS's
  XMemProxyChannel.

Problem conclusion

• The SSL Channel code was modified to send  direct byte buffers
  to the XMemProxyChannel.
  
  APAR PI50139 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Pack
  7.0.0.39 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0.
