Error description

In a particular case pop processing  did not put the user ID
back on the thread since the call to
setThreadSecurityEnvironment with that userid  was not observed.
This is because the restoreAppLocalOSThreadID is specific to
application syncToOSThread and not to J2C syncToOSThread.
The restoreLocalOSThreadID method must be used instead since it
checks for both app and j2c syncToOSThread.

The creation of the connection was done under the server
identity in error.

For a WebSphere Application Server for z/OS with the connection
manager RunAs thread identity support enabled, a J2C
connection to a database fails with -551 SQLCODE when the user
identity is not properly synchronized to the operating system
thread.

Problem conclusion

The code was modified to properly restore the user identity
to the operating system thread after loading database related
classes.

APAR PI07503 is currently targeted for inclusion in
Service Level 7.0.0.33, 8.0.0.9, and 8.5.5.3 of WebSphere
Application Server.
