    Detailed Problem Description:

In a multi-tiered syndication setup where there are multiple
servers syndicating to each other if a server starts syndicating
some changes before receiving updates from where it is
subscribed to, it wont syndicate those incomming changes.

Problem conclusion

  • Problem Analysis:

The event log database was using an items last modified date as
a timestamp to decide when to send items. This will cause
problems since syndication uses the current system time to
decide when to syndicate. This means that new items comming into
a subscriber could possibly be older then what the systems last
syndication date is, which will lead to that item never
    syndicating.

Failing Module: WCM - Web Content Management (General)

    Problem Solution:

Changed the way the event log stores items to use the timestamp
of the current system time, and only use the controllables last
modified date when comparing which item to fetch.
