IC69850: HATS RCP INPUT FIELD SPACING TOO CLOSE TO NEXT FIELD

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The customer reported an issue with how close some of their
  HATS inputs were being displayed next to other fields.  On the
  host there was a noticeable space after the input field but on
  the RCP transformation the input was up againt the text of the
  next field.  The error appears to be occurring due to how the
  fields are being laid out when there is a border on the input
  field.

  The code to layout the widgets on the RCP transformation was
  padding the space around the text inputs with a value larger
  than what is necessary.  As a result, the text inputs would be
  displayed with little or no space between the border of the
  input and any adjacent fields.
  

Problem conclusion

• The layout code used to size and position the text inputs was
  changed to better calculate the dimensions required by the
  input.
