APAR status

Error description

  • When using a DataPower SFTP Server Front-Side Handler (FSPH) and
uploading a
file with a .pgp extension (a binary file) and sending it to an
MQSeries back-end, the MQ headers that were set with a
stylesheet are over-writing the body of the message. You are
able to see this when viewing the message on the MQ queue, via
the MQ Explorer, or the Rfhutilc utility.

WHAT is the problem?
When sending the request to the backend, the MQ message body
might be overwritten by the MQRFH2 body content.

WHY did the problem happen?
Internal buffer handling for the message header and body is
incorrect.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available on 3.8.0.12, 3.8.1.11, 3.8.2.3
