IC73049: TIME GAP BETWEEN NTP SERVER AND DATAPOWER ADJUSTED TOO INFREQUENTLY IN CASE WTX IS USED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The time gap between NTP and DataPower does not adjust
  until the gap reached 500msec.  It is expected to be
  adjusted even when it is less than 500msec.
  
  Event Code 0x80e0031f text:
  
  Event Code 0x80e0031f - NTP time difference in microseconds
  After receiving an update from the Network Time Protocol
  service, this is the difference in time that existed
  between the time the service returned and the time on the
  appliance in microseconds. Adjustments of greater
  than 0.5 seconds (500,000 microseconds) are performed by
  stepping the time.  Smaller adjustments are made by
  adjusting the rate of the clock.

  adjustment.
