IC71886: HTTP REDIRECTS MAY FAIL FOR SERVICES HAVING HTTP FSH & NON-XML REQUEST TYPE WHEN ALTERNATE RULE IN ON-ERROR ACTION IS TRIGGERED

Error description

• HTTP redirects between services may fail in the following
  circumstances:
  
   - When an XML Firewall or Multi-Protocol Gateway is
     configured for non-XML request type, has an HTTP
     front side handler, and an on-error action specifying
     an alternate rule is triggered.
  
  
  The problem may not be noticed unless persistent HTTP
  connections are used.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• This problem will appear for any XML Firewall or Multi-Protocol
  Gateway with HTTP front side that is configured with "non-xml"
  request type and has on-error action which defines an
  alternative rule to be executed. In some cases the following
  transaction on the same persistent connection will have extra
  data from the last transaction.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix is in 3.8.0.9 and 3.8.1.7.
