Error description
When a Request rule is composed of multiple actions, where the second is a Transform using a Processing Instruction whose input is the output from another action, the processing action is ignored. The second action logs this message which indicates that no processing instruction (PI) was used as specified in the message indicating "pi=none": xformpi: 'Transforming PIPE with store:///identity.xsl (using pi=none) results stored in PIPE' completed ok.
Local fix
Workaround is to separate the two actions into separate services.
Problem summary
Affected are customers who generate XML containing a processing-instruction (PI) in an action of a rule. The processing-action will be ignored in other actions of the same rule for constant PI target names. A bug in xsl:processing-instruction generated a PI in the wrong namespace.
Problem conclusion
xsl:processing-instruction was fixed, and this fix will be available in 3.8.0.6 and 3.8.1.4
