This release is a full version of the product.

To download the software for WebSphere Transformation Extender with Launcher Hypervisor Edition, go to Passport Advantage Online.

2. INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION INFORMATION
=====================================================================

The product documentation explains the details of installing and configuring WebSphere Transformation Extender with Launcher Hypervisor Edition.

After you load the virtual machine image to IBM Workload Deployer, you must add the WebSphere Transformation Extender license number.

1. In the IBM Workload Deployer menu, click Catalog > Virtual Images.
2. In the Product IDs field, click Add ID to enter the license number: 5725-E33

If the license number is not accepted, verify that you entered the correct number. If the number is correct, you might have to update the software catalog.


Potential issues with glibc component on RHEL V6.7 or RHEL V7.2 systems

As described in Bug 1293976 and Bug 1256285, Red Hat Enterprise Linux V6.7 and V7.2 can include a defective version of the glibc component. The affected versions are glibc-2.12-1.149.el6.x86_64 through glibc-2.12-1.163.el6.x86_64. These versions of glibc can cause unpredictable behavior in Transformation Extender.

The version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux that is packaged with Transformation Extender Launcher Hypervisor Edition is not affected. If you patched Red Hat Enterprise Linux after you deployed the Launcher Hypervisor Edition virtual image, ensure that the patched version of glibc is not affected.

Enter the following command to display the version of glibc that is installed on your system:

rpm -qi glibc

If you have an affected version of glibc, correct the issue as described in the bug reports before you run Transformation Extender.
