Error description
Batch Adapter hang may occur if one or more threads request input from the standard input device.
Local fix
WTXCQ - WTX00042467 EJ / EJ Circumvention: Use the Batch Adapter -STDIN parameter
Problem summary
Users Affected: WebSphere Transformation Extender Batch adapter users that specify commands that rely on the standard input device but do not use the "-STDIN" command line option. Problem Description: The Batch adapter hangs when one or more threads request data from the standard input device. Platforms Affected: Windows
Problem conclusion
The Batch adapter no longer duplicates the standard input handle. This prevents another batch thread from delaying execution while input remains pending from a previously executed shell command, such as the case with the "TIME" command, which unnecessarily prompts for user input that will never be satisfied because there is no way for the user to provide input.
