    Circumvention: None

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
WebSphere Transformation Extender customers who are approaching
internal limits on entries in maps

    Problem Description:
Map compiler hangs when compiling a specific map.

    Platforms Affected:
    Win32

Problem conclusion

  • We were doubling a local variable to find the first power of two
greater than a number, but our number overflowed when the
number we were working with went over 0x8000. To fix it, I
changed a couple local variables to DWORDs (from WORDs).
