  • After upgrading from WTX 8.1 to WTX 8.3, some XML data is
incorrectly validated which may cause a group or element that
exists in the data to be evaluated as NONE.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
WebSphere Transformation Extender customers using XML Xerces
type tree

Problem Description:
Data missing in output due to input XML Xerces type tree finding
the same element names on the wrong level. Found deeply nested
element instead of element 1 level deeper.

Platforms Affected:
All

Problem conclusion

  • Correct the type find routine so it looks in the current level
type fully before looking in subtypes. Previously would find a
matching type in the wrong place, that would lead to elements
not being mapped properly.
