Error description

• Using the WTX ODBC adapter on a 64 bit Unix platform, against a
  table that contains fields with some NULL values may return
  incorrect or corrupted data.  The problem only seems to affect
  tables generated against a database using the data language of
  Unicode Big Endian.

Problem summary

• Users affected:
  WebSphere Transformation Extender all 64 bit versions of the
  ODBC Adapter that select columns that may contain a NULL value.
  Problem Description:
  The WTX 64-bit ODBC Adapter is not handling NULL data column
  values properly, particularly during an input select operation.
  Platforms affected:
  AIX64 bit
  

Problem conclusion

• The 64 bit WTX ODBC adapter properly returns the correct data
  for a selected column that has a NULL value.  Before this fix,
  corrupted data would get returned for a NULL column value.
