PM61686: ORACLE DATABASE ADAPTER FAILS TO FIND OBJECT WHEN CALLING STORED PROCEDURE USING SYNONYM REFERENCE FOR PACKAGE NAME

Error description

• The Oracle Database Adapter fails to find the object when
  calling a stored procedure using a synonym reference for the
  package name.
  The following error is reported in the database adapter trace.
  Error returned by OCIDescribeAny, errcode=4043
  ORA-04043: object <package_synonym_name>.<procedure_name> does
  not exist
  The stored procedure call is successful in the Oracle SQL Plus
  tool when using the synonym reference for the package name.

  Problem Description:
  The WTX Oracle Database Adapter fails to call stored procedure
  when there is a synonym reference for the package name.
  
  Platforms Affected:
  ALL
  

Problem conclusion

• When a stored procedure in a package is referenced by a synonym
  to the package, the Oracle adapter can now "CALL" the stored
  procedure.  Before this fix, using the "CALL" syntax to invoke
  the stored procedure would fail because the synonym was not
  de-referenced before trying to describe the parameters of the
  stored procedure.
