APAR status

Error description

  • After selecting WebSphere DataPower as the MapRuntime option in
the Design Studio Map Settings and building a map, the expected
.dpa compiled map file is not generated.

Local fix

Circumvention: Change the MapRuntime setting to WebSphere
Transformation Extender, build the map and then change the
setting to WebSphere DataPower and build the map again.

Problem Description:
Design Studio compiles the DataPower map but does not generate
the .dpa file and instead generates the compiled exported files.

Platforms Affected:
Windows

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed a problem with Design Studio where it now compiles the
DataPower map (.dpa) when migrated from 8.2 version prior to
8.2.0.4 revision. It does not create compiled exported files
when compiling such a DataPower map.

Delivered in:
8.2.0.6, 8.3.0.5, 8.4.0.2
