Error description
When attempting to establish an HTTP/S or FTP/S connection on an AIX from a WTX 8.3.0.x 64 bit installation, the HTTP/S or FTP/S Adapter trace displays the an incorrect Protocol value. Example HTTP/S Adapter trace: Checking user port 443. Service: 'https'. Port: 443. Protocol: 'Nvp'. Socket Opened. Connected. WSAConnectSSL: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL: System call error (32). WSAConnectSSL: Failure: SSL connection NOT established with target server, paulbrett.plus.com, on port, 443. Socket Closed. Note that the protocol is set as 'Nvp'. The first two characters in the trace are random in every execution with the third character always as 'p'.

Problem summary
Users Affected: WebSphere Transformation Extender customers using HTTP and FTP adapters on 64 bits AIX. Problem Description: On AIX, the trace reports garbage instead of protocol name and service name. Platforms Affected: Aix 64 bits
Problem conclusion
Correct WTX HTTP and FTP adapter code to use getserverbyname function to get info about the port that is used in the trace file. No functionality affected. Delivered in: 8.3.0.5, 8.4.0.1
