Error description
RMI server experiences poor performance where new map executions are being blocked during high volume with multiple users are connected.
Local fix
WTXCQ - WTX00039569 JX / JX Circumvention: None
Problem summary
Users Affected: WebSphere Transformation Extender RMI Server users that are employing the multi-user mode will notice a dramatic improvement in concurrency and overall map throughput, particularly during heavy peak loads Problem Description: The RMI Server is not executing efficiently during peak load activity. Platforms Affected: ALL
Problem conclusion
The RMI Server's multi-process mode has been optimized so that greater map concurrency can be achieved during peak loads. Before this fix, the old multi-process monitoring logic could easily block start up and execution of new maps. Based on local stress testing with 25 simultaneously executing RMI Clients, the new fixes have resulted in a 100% RMI Server map throughput performance improvement. Delivered in: 8.1.0.6, 8.2.0.6, 8.3.0.5, 8.4.0.1
