Error description

  • The following "Loading map failed" error occurs when running a
map with map caching enabled for the WTX Primitive in WESB.
com.ibm.websphere.dtx.dtxpi.rmi.MRmiApiException: Unknown error
- Loading map failed - Native function: CMpiMapSet::CMpiMapSet
No errors occur when the map caching is disabled.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
WebSphere Transformation Extender Primitive for WESB users with
map in project and map cache turned on
Problem Description:
If Map is in project and has map caching on, it gets "Load map
failed" error
Platforms Affected:
ALL

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed issue in WTX Primitive for WESB to clear a new "map
loaded" flag in the init method to make sure the map is loaded
once initially when map cache is set on.
Delivered in:
8.3.0.5, 8.4.0.1
