Error description

  • An inbound 4010X093A1 276 transaction is processed by Trading
Manager and the outbound Trading Partner is set to use the 5010
standard.

The 997 file is created with the repetition character in the
ISA11 set to "U" instead of expected value of "^" that is
defined for the Partner.

Problem Description:
997 file is created with a 5010 ISA having a "U" as the value
for the repetition character

Problem conclusion

  • When the data was a 4010 and the desired 997 was a 5010, the
incorrect value for the repetition character was being created.
Modified map x12_library.mms to point to the correct value from
the reenveloping options

Delivered in:
TMGR IP 8.2.1.5 and future
