Circumvention: Type tree can be modified manually where some
ranges for optional items have been set to 1:1, and need to be
changed to 0:1

WebSphere Transformation Extender customers using classic XML
parser and optional choice groups

Problem Description:
Invalid input when validating XML data using classic parser and
optional choice component incorrectly imported into type tree as
required.

Problem conclusion

  • When using the classic XML schema importer, correct set optional
choice groups as optional in the type tree.
