Local fix
WTXCQ - WTX00039288 GK / GK Circumvention: 1) Export the type tree. 2) Edit the resulting Type Tree Maker .mts file to change the national language. 3) Import the type tree using the Type Tree Maker.
Problem summary
Users Affected: WebSphere Transformation Extender customers on z/OS using native schema data encoding Problem Description: On z/OS and using native schema type tree and input encoding not UTF-8 data corruption may occur due to encoding errors. Schema type tree always assumed UTF-8 for input encoding. Platforms Affected: OS_Batch(32 BITS) z/USS (32 BITS)
Problem conclusion
On z/OS when using the native schema processor correctly determine the encoding of the input file. Delivered in: 8.2.0.6, 8.3.0.5, 8.4.0.1
