• Error message regarding .NET Framework requirement for Partner
  Manager 8.2.1.5 with .NET Framework 4 installed.
  
  On a Windows XP system, the following message is displayed:
  
  Setup has detected that a suitable Microsoft .NET Framework is
  not installed on this computer. You will not be able to install
  the Partner Manager.
  
  On the Windows 7 system, the following message is displayed:
  
  Setup has detected that the required Microsoft .NET Framework
  1.1 is not installed on this computer.
  Would you like Setup to launch the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
  install now?
  If you select 'No' you will not be able to install the Partner
  Manager Component)

Problem summary

• Users Affected:
  Issue applies to any core release target WebSphere
  Transformation Extender  Trading Manager 8.2.1.5 installation
  where .Net Framework versions prior to v1.1 are present. As this
  is an installer issue, a means of fix delivery will need to be
  devised.
  
  Problem Description:
  Failure to correctly manage .Net Framework policy sub keys
  caused consideration of allowable .Net versions to be skipped,
  resulting in a Partner Manager prerequisite testing failure
