Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
WebSphere Transformation Extender customers using launcher and
backup adapter on HPUX Itanium

Problem Description:
Special debug diagnostic code was used to reproduce the crash on
the customer machine. The stack trace shows the crash in
basic_filebufI.

Platforms:
HPUX (Itanium) 32 and 64 bits

Problem conclusion

  • Change code to use standard file I/O c runtime function instead
of STL fstream.

Delivered in:
8.2.0.6, 8.3.0.5
