Local fix

  • WTXCQ - WTX00038493
    PB / PB
Workaround is to use the 'classic' FTP adapter

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
WebSphere Transformation Extender customers that invoke the
outbound based "Retrieve" operation, particularly in an input
    card or rule.

    Problem Description:
The WebSphere FTP outbound-based "Retrieve" operation is not
    working in an input card.

    Platforms:
    ALL

Problem conclusion

  • The WebSphere FTP Adapter now properly handles the "Retrieve"
operation in an input card. The data retrieved reflects the raw
bytes of the file that is located on the FTP server. Before
this fix, the retrieve operation would fail, even thought the
same command worked in the 8.2 release. The fix also enables
the rule-based "Retrieve" operation to return the raw data.
Before this fix, the FTP file data was wrapped in an XML
    construct.
