Error description

  • While processing a 5010X217 data file, the 278 (request) HL
    numbering is not being checked. The translation map is failing
    for the HL numbering, but a 999 acceptance (vs. a rejection) is
    being sent.

    HL Hierarchical Rules are not being enforced in the 5010X217 278
    transaction when the 2000D loop is absent.

Problem conclusion

  • Added new rules for the 278 Request and Response transactions to
    enforce 2000E HL02 = 2000C HL01 when the 2000D is ABSENT.
