  • Unexpected error message in Eclipse log.

org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: No property tester
contributes a property
com.ibm.websphere.dtx.ui.me.properties.test1 to type class
org.eclipse.core.internal.resources.Project

To reproduce this error trace, just start the WTX tool from
another Eclipse installation, such as RSA.  Then in the dropins
folder, we placed 3 .link files referencing wtxstudio, wtx_IC
and wtx_eclipse.  When we start RSA (first with -clean option
and then directly).  You can also reproduce the issue by
starting WTX from IBM WebSphere Message Broker.

No issues using the WTX product, just errors in the logs.

Problem Description:
The propertyPages eclipse extension had an unknown attribute.
This was causing error messages in the log file.

Platforms Affected:
Windows

Problem conclusion

  • Removing the unknown attributes from the plugin.xml resolved
the problem.
