  • A map that incorporates a classic imported tree does not detect
a null input value where as a map using a Xerces generated tree
from the same xsd does detect a null input value.

WebSphere Transformation Extender customers using classic XML
importer

Problem Description:
Classic XML type tree does not detect empty required field that
has a restriction list.
The tags are in the XML document but the data is missing.


Platforms Affected:
Windows

Problem conclusion

  • Corrected the importer to generate a type tree that will detect
a missing element in a restriction list. Now parse will fail
when missing data is found.

8.2.0.6, 8.3.0.5
