Problem summary

• Users Affected:
  WebSphere Transformation Extender users on z/OS can now run maps
  that use the Java Class Adapter.
  
  Problem Description:
  The Java Class Adapter does not correctly run on z/OS.
  
  Platforms Affected:
  z/USS(32 BITS)
  

Problem conclusion

• The Java Class Adapter can successfully execute on z/OS
  platform.  Before this fix, the input data was unable to be
  properly processed due to a data encoding mismatch.  With this
  fix, the input data is re-encoded depending on whether two
  different encodings are defined for the JVM's "console.encoding"
  and "file.encoding" system variables.
