  • The compliance check map is not rejecting an invalid HIPAA 276
transaction (GS08 005010X212) that has more than the allowed 2
decimal places in the AMT02 segment of the Loop 2200D.

Problem description:
276 file (GS08 005010X212) with 3 decimal places in the AMT02
segment in Loop 2200D (AMT*T3*123456.789~) not being rejected
in compliance check map.

Platforms affected:
ALL

Problem conclusion

  • Definitions of M'Amt fields was incorrect for almost all 5010
transactions. Changed segment tree to have max 2 decimal places
and max total characters 10.

HCIP 4.3.2.0, HCIP 4.3.2.1
