PM40703: UPDATES REQUIRED TO SDTXSAMP TARGET DATA SET FOR MEMBERS DTXALLOC AND DTXALHFS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The following updates should be made to the DTXALLOC and
  DTXALHFS members of SDTXSAMP target file for WTX 8.3 on z/OS:
  
  DTXALLOC: Load libraries are allocated with
  SPACE=(6144,(2000,200,2)) parameter. This causes the file to be
  allocated with a block size of 6144, rather than 32760, which is
  how the SMP/E updates are delivered.
  
  DTXALHFS: Space size for HFS file is too small. The WTX 8.3
  Program directory the file system requires 1690 tracks.
  According to the JCL supplied to build the HFS (DTXALHFS), the
  allocation requests primary of 100 cyls and a secondary of 50
  cyls. Per client's APPLY results, allocation should be primary
  of 300 cyls and a secondary of 50 cyls.
