defined with Maximum Size in Bytes and Pad to Size in
Characters.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
WebSphere Transformation Extender customers who specify a "pad
to size" in characters with min and max size not specified in
characters.

Problem Description:
Valid data was failing the size specification when the object
size was expressed in bytes (only), but the pad-to size was
expressed in characters.

Platforms Affected:
ALL

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been modified to calculate the size in characters
when the "pad-to" size is expressed in characters (in addition
to the other reasons we do so).

Delivered in:
8.1.0.6, 8.2.0.6, 8.3.0.5
